School Sport Victoria is pleased to announce a new partnership with Tennis Victoria through to the end of 2027.
Sam Watson, Head of Play at Tennis Victoria, said: “Tennis Victoria is proud to renew our partnership with School Sport Victoria, continuing our shared commitment to providing students across the state with meaningful opportunities to experience and enjoy tennis. Through this collaboration, we aim to grow participation, support school communities, and inspire the next generation of players by developing and delivering high-quality, inclusive tennis experiences. Whether through interschool sport or the Team Vic program, Tennis Victoria is excited to see tennis continue to thrive in Victorian schools in the coming years.”
In 2024, there were 29,608 student participation engagements in Tennis, which was the 10th most participation engagements of any SSV interschool sport competition. Additionally, 30 Victorian students represented Team Vic, securing one bronze medal at the School Sport Australia Championships in 2024.
